Your CV is a 'sales' tool, which should illustrate your suitability for a position. A CV must be individually prepared for each type of position being applied for. A single generalist CV for all jobs is unlikely to be sufficient.
Points to remember:
- A CV should contain no more than 2 pages
- A CV should be concise and have clarity
- All paragraphs should be short, and bullet points used
- Use direct strong vocabulary e.g. motivated, organised, managed
- Prioritise your most important and relevant skills/experience and put in chronological order
- A CV should be honest and factual
- Check for spelling mistakes
